Meet 11-year-old with tragic skin condition that makes him a statue; the boy is slowly turning into stone

When Nar Kumari held her little boy for the first time, he couldn't have been more perfect. Smiling back at her, Ramesh looked like any other bouncing baby boy. But just 15 days after she got him home, her son's skin began to peel and was replaced by thick, black scales which have been slowly and painfully entombing him since.

The boy is slowly turning into stone

Ramesh, is a boy from Baglung, Nepal is slowly becoming unable to move due to his rare skin condition which transforms his skin into a stone while living his limbs into twisted form.

The 11 year old boy had shown symptoms of the skin condition called ichthyosis since his early weeks. The condition causes the skin to peel and replaced with thick "fish scales". It is usually caused by a flawed gene from one's ancestor.

Ramesh Darji suffers from Ichthyosis, an extremely rare condition which causes his skin to grow quickly and thickly - giving the appearance of having scales, or turning into stone

Ramesh's skin first peeled off when he was just 15 days old, and was quickly replaced with thick, black skin which looked like scales, his father Nanda told MailOnline

As he got older, it simply got worse. At five, he complained to his parents of pain all over his body

The 11-year-old has no friends, because the other children are too scared to come near
