Jagex expands with new sport and fresh hires

Jagex, the Cambridge UK writer and buy RuneScape gold publisher of living games, has strengthened the studio's development team as it prepares to roll out a spectacular but as yet unidentified new game. The hires will drive the technology firm's blueprint to continue growing the £1 billion RuneScape franchise and construct new game experiences. With the coronavirus situation, 2020 is poised to become another year of substantial investment in recruitment, the Cambridge Science Park business says.

Jesse America has been appointed executive producer of an unannounced action role-playing sport. Jesse has more than 18 years of experience in RuneScape industry, working across various aspects of game development. Jagex is joined by him out of Activision Blizzard King, in which he held Call of Duty Mobile and senior production roles. He has been developing MMORPGs having begun his career working as a manufacturer on Star Wars Galaxies & the EverQuest series at Sony.

Mario was later responsible to Games' International publishing as a Service at Ubisoft and Digital Arts. Artisan Studios were recently co-founded by him and directed the firm as CEO. Jendrik Posche joins as executive producer that is specialized with over three years of expertise in production and technology. In Jagex, Jendrik will be operating across the whole studio to help guide and support technical initiatives, ensuring that features are created in-line with team's goals and the business and the service continues to grow.

Jagex's flagship MMORPG, RuneScape, has welcomed to its world over 270 million participant balances and is a $ 1bn lifetime revenue franchise.
